INTRODUCTION
Wiltshire & Swindon Activity & Sports Partnership recognises the importance of investing in the people behind the people to ensure that we achieve our target of increasing and sustaining the number of people taking part in sport and active recreation.
This plan has been developed in conjunction with a range of partners and sets out our actions for 2008/09 to;
Increase the number of people becoming involved in volunteering and especially those who historically do not engage;
Support volunteers in their existing roles and enable them to develop further skills;
Recognise those who regularly volunteer.
